Girraffes don't live in the ocean... but that doesn't have anything to do with this post.

Yeah, sorry, I was struggling to find a workable title, and then I saw that stupid commercial I ranted about the other day... GIRRAFFES DO NOT LIVE IN THE OCEAN. Thank you, that is all.

=================================

Friday was supposed to be a day off for me... it wasn't. Erin, in typical Friday form, decided that "she wanted to be spontaneous like Cameron Diaz" and so she decided that instead of working she'd get on a train and go see her boyfriend... Now while I don't like Cameron Diaz and I think she has an obnoxious laugh, I don't hold that against Erin. So I filled in for her. Tiggles (who was also working) had to leave to go to her other job at Jacky's Bistro, but before she left, she talked up the restaurant enough to get Pat Schultz interested in it... so Pat decided to invite me out to dinner.

This was a lovely change of pace.

So I met up with Pat up at St. Ignatius, (where my grandmother would be thrilled to learn I spent an hour of my Friday evening,) we then went up to Jacky's, (where Pat happened to lock his keys in his car while waiting for the valet,) and then after a few laughs about the event we proceeded to have a fabulous dinner. Seriously kids, if you have the means (And means are necessary, because it is a bit pricey), I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE. And if you know Pat Schultz, he's fabulous too, and more than worth getting to know.

I then came home, called Westfall (because we were supposed to go out), but her phone cut out, and I didn't know where to go, so I stayed in. I called it a night fairly early. (J-Dub, my apologies, there will be other weekends.)

Satruday morning was full of flower slingin' fun. And tonight I have the joy of studying on a Saturday night... (which if you ask me is a bunch of bunk... and Beth, I don't know how you can do this on such a consistent basis.)
